Grand Silver Jubilee Ceremony Held: A Historical Day for Golden Gateans!
8th April, 2011 was a historical day for all the people associated in one or the other way with the Golden Gate English Secondary School: A Grand Silver Jubilee Ceremony was held at Mahakali Pith, Bhaktapur – 5 under the Chairmanship of the Founder Director Mrs. Anju Joshi and with the kind presence of the Chief Guest Mr. Sunil Prajapati, Honourable Member of Constituent Assembly.
In the program, students performed their talent for the contest of Golden Gate Silver Jubilee Singing Star and Dancing Star (Senior & Junior).
Glorious Advent on Silver Jubilee Year
The Golden Gate English Secondary School has made an advent to the 25 Years of its in Service in Education Sector and the school planned to mark this historical event with a huge Parental Assembly, Talent Contests, Prizing Ceremony and many more alike. The initial event is going to be a Silver Jubilee Ceremony. It is scheduled to be held as follows:
- Program: Silver Jubilee Ceremony
- Date: 25th Chaitra, 2067
- Time: 11:00 am onwards
- Venue: Mahakali Peeth, Mahakalisthan, Bhaktapur – 5, Nepal
Special Attractions:
- Golden Gate Silver Jubilee Singing Star Contest – 2067: 10 contestants selected from an audition are competing on freshly composed music and song, especially crafted for the event.
- Golden Gate Silver Jubilee Dancing Star Contest – 2067: 20 dancers from two groups – senior and junior are competing for the event and a vigorous training is on the way on Nepali folk songs.

Result of Second Terminal Examination – 2067
The entire result (From Nursery to Class 9) of Second Terminal Examination – 2067 will be distributed on Friday, 2nd Poush, 2067 between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. from New Block of the school. The presence of parents accompanied by the concerned student(s) is a MUST, and, parents are advised to clear the dues upto the month of Poush, 2067.
The entire result (From Nursery to Class 9) of Second Terminal Examination – 2067 will be distributed on Friday, 2nd Poush, 2067 between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. from New Block of the school. The presence of parents accompanied by the concerned student(s) is a MUST, and, parents are advised to clear the dues upto the month of Poush, 2067.
We expect to see as many parents and students as possible on the day.

Terminal Break & School Resumption
The Second Terminal Examination – 2067 concludes today on Tuesday, 21st Mangsir, 2067 and as a way of providing time for Term Break, the school will remain closed from Tuesday 22nd to Saturday, 25th Mangsir, 2067.
The school will resume from Sunday, 26th Mangsir, 2067 in full fledge with its current schedules.
We expect to see you fully energized with added enthusiasm for learning.
Long Tour to Manakamana, Gorkha & Pokhara: A Heavenly Experience
Day 1:
Departed from school at about 6:30 a.m.; had food at Simle, went to Manakamana by Cable car – the only cable car service in Nepal; worshiped Manakamana Mata; reached Gorkha Bazar & stayed at Hotel Satyam.
Day 2:
Visited Gorkha Palace in the early morning; departed to Pokhara; experienced boating on Begnas Lake; reached Pokhara and stayed at Hotel Planet.
Day 3:
· Visited Bindyabasini Temple; Mahendra Cave, Bat Cave, Seti/Dr. K.I. Singh Bridge; Mahendra Pool
· Visited Devi’s Fall, Gupteshwor Cave and experienced boating on Fewa Lake
Day 4:
· Visited Sarangkot and had an exotic view of sunrise
· After breakfast, moved back to Kathmandu having lots of stops and amusement on the way.

TIHAR SPECIAL PROGRAM – 2067
Organized by the students of Class 8, the Tihar Special Program of this year was an another glorius moment in the history of Golden Gate.
Students of various classes competed for the traditional Deusi Bhailo Songs and Class 7 students were the winner. Winners were awarded with beautiful gifts as Dakshina.
Various other programs were also staged on the occasion like folk and modern dances including B-Boying by Class 10 and other students.

WELCOME PROGRAM & PRIZING CEREMONY
Golden Gate English Secondary School very proudly organized a very special program – WELCOME+PRIZING CEREMONY – on 3rd June, 2010. All the new Golden Gateans were welcomed by offering “Tika” by the Founder Director Anju Joshi and “Khada” by the Principal Singa Tamang. There were dances, songs and other amusement programs as well. The students securing distinction in the Annual Examination – 206 and winners of the ECA events during the Academic Year 2066 were also given prizes.
The school likes to thank all the staffs and students who brought this event to history of Golden Gate.
